If the crops are grown using only natural processes such as crop rotation and manure for fertilizing, with cover crops and trap crops to control insects and other kinds of pests it can be classified as an eco-friendly fabric. Cotton that is grown is this organic way is very popular as organic cotton. However, if chemicals are used during the manufacturing of the fabric this will change it into a fabric that is not eco-friendly. Eco-friendly fabrics are grown and processed in ways that do not cause harm to our environment.
Eco-friendly fabrics have grown in popularity because of improved awareness of environmental hazards in most of the population. The fabrics are commonly used for clothing and other needs. There are other eco-friendly fabrics besides cotton that are becoming popular.
